BABIES HEALTH PROBLEMS

As parents, we all want to deal seriously babies health problems as babies are fragile and sensitive. Premature babies are the most vulnerable. They often have health problems because they are born before they are physically ready to leave the womb.
To face and to prevent premature babies health problems, premature babies are given extra medical attention and assistance immediately after delivery. These are the most common premature babies health problems: respiratory distress syndrome which is a breathing disorder caused by the immaturity of the baby’s lungs; bronchopulmonary dysplasia which requires the baby to be given oxygen for several weeks or months; apnea which is a temporary pause in breathing, and associated with bradycardia which is a decline in heart rate; retinopathy of prematurity which is an eye disease; jaundice; and other problems like anemia and heart murmurs.
All babies can have health problems. And there are multitudes of health problems, such as, among others: abdominal, allergies, asthma, chest and lungs problems, chronic conditions, cough, eye infections, fever, flu, gas, head, injuries, jaundice varicocele, etc. Health problems may happen equally to normal born babies and to ivf babies. Specific ivf babies health problems include: heart valve defects, cleft lip and palate, and digestive system abnormalities due to the bowel or oesophagus failing to form properly, and a small but increased risk of rare genetic disorders including Angelman Syndrome, which leads to delays in development, and Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome, which can lead to a hole in the abdomen and learning difficulties.
Most of babies health problems are common, but for the following health problems, parents need to call the doctor immediately: fever in a 2 months or younger baby, constant coughing, a rash of flat red dots along with fever, persistent vomiting, limping with a fever or inability to move a limb, a head bump, weird poop, eyelid swelling and pain with fever, abdominal pain for more than two hours, severe elbow pain. While facing babies health problems, never hesitate to call the doctor, even just for advice.
